LARGE, RARE ANTIQUE MACKENZIE VINTAGE DOOR KNOCKER MRS. POWERS CHILDS GIRL ON A SWING.
May also be known as and refered to as: Mrs. Powers a Proper Woman on a Swing.
This is a wonderful early door knocker, an authentic vintage example. Measures as shown, approximatly 10" tall x 6" wide.
It has a repaired crack (soldered) on the top mounting bracket tree branch, shown in the last picture.
The knocker has been repainted at some point, yet still showing some of the original black paint in places.
My opinion is that it be admired and enjoyed indoors rather than used outside, due to it's rarity and age.
