Up for sale is a beautiful and rare original Chinese painting on silk by the listed artist Li Hongzhu
李洪柱
. This original work of art depicts two white cranes flying out from the reeds painted with exceptional detail and grace. Every feather of each bird is definable and lifelike clearly painted with a talented hand. Hongzhu is a recognized Chinese artist with an original work selling at Sotheby's in 2015 for over 8000 USD! Signed in the lower left, writing and chop marks are clearly photographed. Resting in its original wood frame measuring 16.5 x 25.5 inches the painting on silk measures approximately 10 x 18 inches. The condition appears to be excellent but there may be some minor discoloration along the very top portion of the painting, its very faint. A puncture has also
occurred
on its back side but fortunately no damage to the painting
occurred
from this. Along the back is the artists copyright stamp ensuring that only Hongzhu has legal rights to reproduce it.
