    This is an Original Chinese Watercolor on paper . Nice painting of a sitting scholar in contemplation. This is probably a fragment from a scroll painting .Its been matted and framed on board. Has staining and creases . Most likely dates from 19th or early 20th century . There are a few worm holes. The watercolor measures 15.5" x 14", Mat is 20" x 16".
