Vibrant set of 12 gouache paintings on pith paper still in the original silk covered hand painted book. Mid-19th century Chinese.
Very good condition with some splits and tears as would be expected. The set depicting Chinese ceremonial court scenes and other varies subjects. A rare set found as it was made still intact in the original hand painted book cover. The book is signed in the back page.
