Antique 1900's Chinese Miniature Screen Hand Painted on Marble  Double Sided
For your consideration is a very beautiful miniature folding screen
Three thin marble panels with double sided decorations
A unique hand painted picture on each side
The sides that stay outside when folded depict traditional Chinese landscapes, majestic high mountains, forests, some houses
The sides that show when the screen opens are decorated with colorful birds on blooming tree branches
Exquisitely elaborated details
The wooden frame is very fine, made from two different exotic woods, light and dark
The hinges are from brass
Great for decoration but also perfect for a doll house
Circa first half of the 20th century, possibly Republic Period China (1912-1949)
