    GORGEOUS, SOLID BRONZE, Large Lion Door Knocker.  Quite the regal looking fellow!  From my husband's estate - wrapped in oil cloth and found in a drawer of a dresser in storage.  6 1/2" x 4 1/2" - Heavy for its size too.
    AMAZING condition.  No rust, corrosion, missing pieces, just the right amount of wear that's made it smooth with a beautiful patina.  The knocker swings up and down easily. We just noticed "Spain" while taking pictures, we assume this means made in Spain.
    Dates to the late 1880's, early 1890's.
