; Up for sale is the Chinese seal script calligraphy in ink of the “Children training” (

) on paper, signed by the artist and dated in the 1920s’. The context of the calligraphy is translated as “
堂构肎承，先业为大，析薪负荷，志立不败。

。兄弟天合，友爱天性，异形同气，小忿勿逞，孔融争死，刀不惊
”.
With silk borders and framed under glass, the calligraphy was signed by the artist 袁克文 (Yuan Kewen) and
with two artist’s seals. The work was likely dedicated to the General He Yingqin
何应钦将军
(1890-1987).
Measures: Frame, 28” high x 19 ½” wide; Calligraphy, 24 ½” high x 16” wide.
Condition: Good, some scratching to frames. Some foxing and wrinkling to paper.
